officially a social outcast!
Wednesday, May 3rd, 2006checked my library card status and guess what? i have 9 books on the list! i’m a social outcast!!!!!!
sigh…..! well, a Hermit’s gotta do what a Hermit’s gotta do. speaking of which, why in the world am i even typing this when i should be doing my Communism essay (which is due tomorrow)?!
yesterday i had a BIG surprise. the gang threw a little party for me at the Pink Shop (the cafe’s pink and it has no name, hence the Pink Shop!). there i was having lunch with Kat and Pooi Yarn when Grace shows up..follwed by Eleanor and Ann…and before you know it the cake comes (beautiful chocolate cake………….HEAVEN!!!!!) with candles and all and everyone’s singing! i think i owe all of you guys (Kat, Ann, Pooi Yarn Eleanor, Grace, Maxine, Femmy, Dilly, Sharon and BP) a big HUG and a THANK YOU for giving me my 5 mins fo fame!!!! seriously, thanks guys…it really means a lot. i was speechless yesterday. never really had a surprise party before.
in other news, i think i should be getting back to the essay. btw, after this i don’t think i want to hear anymore from Stalin, Gorbachev, Havel, Walesa, Hitler…or any of the other "heroes"!!!!!!!!!!!
ok, ok…i’m stopping now……sheesh!
